Except in very specific circumstances, we do not provide cash, preferring instead to offer support in other ways, such as purchasing travel tickets or phone top-ups.

We offer emergency assistance to RAS individuals facing financial difficulties. For example, if someone requires help with the cost of bus or train fares to travel to Liverpool for a Home Office appointment, to Middlesbrough for signing purposes, or to attend a court hearing, we have limited emergency funds available to purchase tickets on their behalf. This fund is ‘unrestricted’ and is largely supported by individual donors, allowing us to use discretion in its allocation for situations such as these. Our aim is to ensure that those experiencing hardship receive practical and effective assistance tailored to their specific needs.
